Recorded in Brixton London with Chris Williams on saxophone, Hugh Vicars on bass and Christoph Bernewitz, overdubbed guitar in Kromsdorf Germany 2006. The horse race is a record pressed in 1967, my grandfather, Hugh Scott Harkness was the horse breeder. I came across 4 records with horse commentary from the race's won by my grandfathers horse's, both 78 rpm and 33rpm in the family collection. In 2006 New Telepathics had a trio that played regularly at the Ritzy Cafe in Brixton with myself on drums, keys, guitar and vocals, Chris Williams on saxophone and Hugh Vicars on bass. We would play the horse race record 'Rimutaka Hop' on the house system and play live along side it.
